Many international visitors attending ROYAL RETURN TOURISM FORUM AND EXHIBITION IN HAMPTON may require a visa to enter the United States. Below are some suggested steps to follow when applying for a visa that will to help maximize the chances of approval of your application being approved.

While submitting an official Letter of Invitation from ROYAL RETURN US-GHANA with your application is an important step in this process, the letter does not guarantee approval of your application.

The letter is supplementary information that explains an applicant’s travel purpose in the United States. U.S. Embassy officers look at:

  1. Applicant’s personal and professional situation in determining visa eligibility.

The following steps will give you the best possible chance of securing a U.S. visa.

Procedures are slightly different for Attendees and Exhibit Staff – please review and follow the correct path based on your registration type.

It is recommended that you start the process approximately 60-90 days prior to your departure which is NOW! Register now and start your Visa process.

Do you need a visa?

Submitting your visa application online

If you require a visa to enter the United States, please complete the U.S. State Department Online Non-immigration Visa Application.

This online application is used by all U.S. Embassies.

Once you complete the online application, a confirmation will be emailed to you outlining further instructions for an appointment.

U.S. immigration services recommend that you take these supporting documents

  1. Business Registration and tax returns
  2. Bank statement
  3. Any ownership documents of land or other real estate property
  4. Letter from job or business partners
  5. Children birth certs
  6. Marraige certs
  7. Community leadership roles

Any documents that show you are well established in Ghana and will return after visit

Obtaining your letter of invitation for your visa application

FOR ATTENDEES

Register for Royal Return Ghana Commemoration 400 Exhibition and Trade Show in HAMPTON, VIRGINIA. PAY 50% OF YOUR REGISTRATION FEE TO BE ISSUED THE VISA LETTER. IF YOUR VISA IS REFUSED, THIS AMOUNT MINUS A $100 ADMIN FEE WILL BE FULLY REFUNDED TO YOU WITHIN 14 DAYS AFTER WE RECEIVE YOUR LETTER OF REFUSAL.

ONCE THE VISA IS APPROVED THE BALANCE OF THE FULL FEE IS DUE UPON RECEIPT OF VISA.

DEADLINE FOR THIS PAYMENT IS JUNE 10, 2019.

Once you select “do you require a visa letter?” on the profile page and have completed your registration, we will automatically send you a personalized Letter of Invitation along with your confirmation email.

Print the Letter of Invitation in color and submit it along with your visa application to the U.S. Embassy/Consulate.

We suggest that you do not purchase your airline ticket until your visa application has been approved.

FOR EXHIBITORS

Register your booth Staff for ROYAL RETURN US-GHANA through the Exhibitor Dashboard.

Enter the actual addresses for the registrants.

In order to have a visa letter generated, you must put in an international address – IF YOU PUT IN A USA ADDRESS YOU WILL NOT GET A LETTER ISSUED.  Visa letters are automatically generated for people with addresses outside the U.S.

Once you select “do you require a visa letter?” on the profile page of each registrant and have completed each registration, we will automatically send each booth staff their personalized Letter of Invitation along with their confirmation email AFTER 50% OF REGISTRATION FEE IS PAID.

Print the Letter of Invitation in color and submit it along with your visa application to the U.S. Embassy/Consulate.

We suggest that you do not purchase your airline ticket until your visa application has been approved.
